WELCOME MS. CHO JIHEE – KOREAN VOLUNTEER FROM KOICA WORKING AT HOTEC FROM 2018 - 2020 (13/11)

In the morning of November 6^th, 2018, Board of Rectors, Dean of Foreign Languages Faculty, Department of Scientific Research and International Cooperation welcomed Ms. Cho Jihee – a Korean volunteer - working at Faculty of Foreign Languages from 2018 to 2020. This is the second time HOTEC has Korean teacher from KOICA. Ms. Cho Jihee is a specialist in teaching Korean. At the meeting, Ms. Jihee expressed her happiness and excitement in having the opportunity to work at HOTEC. Besides, Mr. Pham Duc Khiem – Rector of Hotec showed his appreciation for her enthusiasm and willingness to be a member of HOTEC and hoped that the relationship between HOTEC and KOICA will be improved.

In preparation for the two – year work at HOTEC, Ms. Cho Jihee had two weeks for On-the-Job Training. During this time, she visited HOTEC and learned about training programs, outdoor activities, foreign language clubs and other activities. Moreover, Ms. Cho Jihee had opportunities to observe Korean classes and talked with students. She also discovered the library, teaching and learning environment.

After the meeting, Ms. Cho Jihee started working at Faculty of Foreign Languages. She will be involved in teaching Korean, planning Korean program, and other activities at the college.
